A new community mural is coming to the exterior of the Albury Swim Centre in 2023!
We are currently seeking drawings, written responses, photos and/or audio recordings from community members that could be incorporated into the mural design.
Created by artist Jeff McCann, the ‘Albury World’ mural aims to capture the identity of our city and depict what makes our community the best place to call home. Whether you’re 7 or 77, or whether you reside in the East, North, West or South … we want to showcase what living in Albury means to you!
To make your mark on this legacy public artwork, attend an in-person Creative Workshop, or download a ‘platform template’ and follow along with the digital workshop below. Jeff will guide you in translating your personal connection to Albury into a whimsical drawing that could be featured in the final ‘Albury World’ mural.
Submit your completed drawing using the form below. Alternatively, you can share your thoughts through a written response, photo and/or audio file. Submissions close Tuesday 25 October.
