Project overview
We're excited to announce the kick-off of our project to enhance the bike track at Black Range Park identified as a key initiative in the Albury Mountain Bike Strategy (2021), this upgrade promises an exciting transformation for outdoor enthusiasts.
To bring this vision to life, we've partnered with the designers at Common Ground Trails, known for their expertise in crafting dynamic outdoor spaces.
The plan? We're proposing to turn the existing dirt track into a state-of-the-art sealed pump track, catering not only to bikers but also to scooter and skateboard enthusiasts. This revitalisation aims to create a vibrant recreational hub, tailored especially for the energetic youth of Lavington and our whole community.
But here's where you come in. We're putting community consultation at the forefront of our process. Your input matters! We'll be reaching out to gather your thoughts and ideas, ensuring that the final design reflects the wants and needs of our vibrant community.
Stay tuned for the unveiling of three exciting concept plans, each carefully crafted based on your feedback. Your vote will determine the winning design, which will then undergo a detailed design in preparation for construction.
Together, let's pave the way for an outdoor experience at Black Range Park.
Save the date and join us for a park party onsite at Black Range Park from 3-6pm on Wednesday 8 May to share your ideas.
