DRAFT Statement of Business Ethics

The Statement of Business Ethics communicates Council's expectations of all the people and organsiations that it does business with, and has been updated to align with updates to AlburyCity's procurement policy and reiterate Council's positions regarding unauthorised communication or lobbying during a tender and quotation process.

AlburyCity is committed to the highest ethical standards and prefers to conduct business with people and organisations who share that commitment.

Our community expects superior standards of ethical and professional conduct from Councillors, delegates and employees who are required to comply with the Council's Code of Conduct. This Code provides strict guidance regarding procurement activities and general behaviour.

AlburyCity's suppliers, tenderers, contractors, consultants and their employees, agents, partners, and sub-contractors, must take resasonable steps to ensure The Statement of Business Ethics is communicated and, understood and complied with.

Submission are not confidential. Submissions, summaries of submissions, and/or names and addresses of people making submissions may be included in publicly available reports to Council and Council's website.
