Planning for our children and young people, 0 to 24 years

We’re developing an Early Years and Young Peoples Plan to guide how we plan and deliver services for Albury’s children, young people and their families into the future.

Albury is home to more than 15,500 people aged under 24 years; about 31% of our total population.

The Plan aims to ensure all children and young people in Albury are provided with support and opportunities so they can grow and develop to their full potential.

We need your help!

We want to hear from all community members, including children, young people and their families and carers, about:

  • What issues are most important to children, young people and their families/carers in Albury?
  • What will help children and young people to live a good life and achieve their goals?
  • What you would change to make Albury a better place for children, young people and their families/carers?

We are also interested in hearing from families about their experiences who have used Council’s children’s services, out of school hours care, child & youth programs at the Library Museum, Lavington Library, Retro Cafe and MAMA.
