The strategy presents a comprehensive and integrated approach to address the current and future transportation needs for our region. It aims to enhance connectivity, accessibility, and sustainability while fostering economic growth and improving the quality of life for residents and visitors alike.
The development of the strategy recognises the importance of community input and involvement in shaping transport decisions. The collaborative approach undertaken during community consultation during Stage 2 (see Community Consultation Summary located in Background Document Library) ensures that the vision and actions of the strategy align with the community's aspirations for our region.
MOVE’s vision will be achieved by addressing four key themes and associated strategic objectives and actions, to deliver a seamless and efficient transport network that caters to the diverse needs of our region.
