Our Cultural Activation team at AlburyCity are excited to work with community members who are committed to honest feedback, believe in the value of arts and culture, have a broad skill set across the arts, commercial operations, entrepreneurial leadership, innovation, marketing and public relations.
Selected Think Tank members will discuss, provide advice and influence the operations of the PumpHouse Creative Enterprise, including:
- the business plan, operational procedures, and membership models.
- equipment selection and internal layouts.
- marketing and branding strategies.
- activation, opening events, residency programs.
- ongoing governance structures for a resilient future.
PumpHouse Creative Enterprise Development Think Tank
As part of the stakeholder engagement process, we are inviting applicants for our PumpHouse Creative Enterprise Development Think Tank.
We’re looking to bring together creative leaders, like yourself, from around Albury for a series of approx. eight workshops. These engaging and highly interactive workshops will provide opportunity for a range of stakeholders to discuss and collaborate on their vision for the PumpHouse Creative Enterprise. The workshops, to be held over the next year, will each last from two to four hours. If selected to join the Think Tank, you will be invited to all workshop sessions.
If you are interested and possess the below skills, we would love to hear from you!
- Arts industry expertise and professional skills:
- In-depth knowledge of our local cultural economy:
- Strategic planning particularly with strong regional awareness and understanding of the strategic fit of the PumpHouse within the context of other local offerings:
- Finance and/or business start-up ventures:
- Governance and risk; and/or
- Marketing and communications

What is expected of Think Tank participants?
Think Tank participants will be considered our PumpHouse project champions!
They’ll participate in workshops over the next six-twelve months to be briefed on the project, provide input into the topics outlined above, share engagement opportunities with their network and test ideas raised. We expect the time commitment to be around 20-30 hours over the six-twelve-month period.
EoIs for the Think Tank close Thursday 22 December at 5pm. You will be notified of the outcome early in the new year.
