We're inviting your ideas to help us shape a greener, more sustainable Albury by contributing to the development of our Urban Forest Strategy.

Our urban forest is a vibrant network of trees and plants that enrich our municipality. This includes trees and plants in public spaces as well as on private properties, including gardens and rooftop greenery, along with the essential soil, water, and ecological elements that support their growth. The trees in Albury’s urban forest are vital components of our green infrastructure, contributing significantly to the liveability and health of our urban environment.

Everyone appreciates something different about our urban forest, whether it's the beauty of the trees, the habitat they provide for wildlife, the shade and cooling from large trees, or the sense of peace created by the natural environment.

Your feedback will help us develop strategies that contribute increased canopy cover, enhanced biodiversity, and improved health and wellbeing of our community. What does the urban forest mean to you? How would you like to see it shaped into the future?
