To be "A nationally significant regional city that embodies vibrancy, diversity, innovation, and connectivity, drawing inspiration from its rich cultural heritage, natural surroundings, and strategic location along the Murray River."

Guiding our efforts is the Albury Community Strategic Plan, aptly named Towards Albury 2050. This comprehensive plan offers a forward-looking perspective, outlining a roadmap for the future prosperity of our community.

Towards Albury 2050 is structured around four strategic directions, each encompassing key themes:

  1. A Growing Sustainable Economy
  2. An Enhanced Natural Environment
  3. A Caring Community
  4. A Leading Community

These strategic directions serve as pillars, underpinning our collective endeavour to realise the aspirations of our community for generations to come.
