Overview

Doctors Point Reserve is a small 2.2ha local ‘pocket park’, included within the broader Eastern Hill and Mungabareena Reserve boundaries. Doctors Point Reserve features ‘Normans Lagoon’, a large, natural billabong, and important habitat, refuge site and breeding ground for both local and migratory birds. Open hillside ecologies of Box Gum Grassy Woodland, and river environments of the Murray River itself, provide further habitat diversity to support wildlife.
