Overview

West Albury Reserves is a 152ha group of reserves featuring picnic spots, natural views, native vegetation, and cultural trails. The Wagirra Trail and Yindyamarra Sculpture Walk link the reserves to Wonga Wetlands along a 15km (return) shared path, with a 5km section presenting the sculptural works of local Indigenous artists.

The site also hosts a nationally significant flying fox colony in Padman Park.

Works have commenced on the Horseshoe Lagoon boardwalk and viewing platform. This should be completed in early 2024.
